  • The Indian RP Society is putting forward a case to become a full member of GARPA. With over 200 members, it demonstrates the large amount of activity in India should provide a valuable resource to GARPA. The society is heavily associated with the forthcoming manufacturing technology conference called TEAMTECH 2006, to be held at the end of February, see details.
  • The RTAM committee of the SME in the US has recently agreed that the immediate past chairman will become the GARPA liaison in future. This means that the new GARPA liaison for 2006 will be Scott Schermer (SWScherm@scj.com). One of his jobs will be to advise in the setting up an RP sub-committee for the SME Chapter 219, which is the Singapore Chapter. This is hopefully to become the Singapore RP society that will eventually become yet another GARPA member.
